Who can hold an account

An account is held by an adult: a parent, guardian, or coach. An athlete under 13 does not hold their own account; a parent or guardian holds it for them and consents to the collection described on our children’s privacy page.

Membership and billing

• Membership is a one-time initiation plus annual dues. Both are billed annually at most; there is no monthly plan.
• The initiation is charged once, per household, when you join, and it includes the first year of dues for one athlete. It is $259 for a founding membership and $399 for a PAINT Membership. A household is never charged a second initiation, including when another athlete is added.
• Dues are charged per athlete, once a year, on your membership anniversary, and fund the following year of membership. They are not a charge to regain access to material already completed. A founding membership is $79 / year for an athlete 13 and older and $59 / year for an athlete 12U; a PAINT Membership is $99 / year and $79 / year respectively.
• When an athlete reaches 13, their dues move to the 13 and older rate at the next renewal after the birthday. Dues are never changed part-way through a paid year. A founding membership moves to the founding 13 and older rate, not the PAINT Membership one.
• Founding members hold the founding initiation and the founding dues rates for as long as the membership stays continuously active, including through published increases.
• Membership renews annually unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the year you have already paid for, and you keep access until it expires.
• If a founding membership lapses, the founding rates are not held. They are rates for members, not a permanent entitlement, and the initiation is not refunded on a lapse.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you live.

What the membership includes

Access to the platform and everything currently in it: generated throwing, mobility, and nutrition programs, workload monitoring, pitch-data profiles, and the dashboards for the athletes on your account. Features are added over the life of a membership and occasionally removed or replaced. We will not remove something substantial mid-term without telling you.

Health, safety, and the limits of what this is

PA.I.NT is a training platform. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a physical therapist, or an athletic trainer.

The platform manages workload. It does not prevent injury and it never claims to. Throwing a baseball carries a risk of injury that no software removes. If an athlete is in pain, stop and see a medical professional. Do not wait for the program to adjust.

The programs are built from the information you give us. If the age, stage, or workload entered is wrong, the program built on it will be wrong too.

Your data and your content

Video, logs, and measurements you upload remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store them, process them, and show them back to the people on your account. We do not publish them, we do not sell them, and we do not use a minor’s data to advertise anything. See the privacy page for the detail.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload video of anyone who has not consented to it, or of a minor who is not on your account.
• Do not share account credentials, resell access, or use the platform to provide a competing service.
• Do not attempt to access another organisation’s data, or to circumvent the controls that keep it separate.

We may suspend an account that breaches these, and we will tell you why.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you before the change takes effect and give you the chance to cancel. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
